Patiala- Patiala district has got the honour, Surjit Singh Goria said that Baldev Singh Mehra has held the post of Vice President earlier also, before this he was working as General Secretary Punjab and Zone Incharge Patiala. Baldev Singh Mehra has now been appointed as the Vice President of Punjab by Bahujan Samaj Party Punjab.
BSP State President Dr Avtar Singh Karim Puri ji has recently announced the state organizational structure of the party, in which Baldev Singh Mehra has been re-appointed as the Vice President of Punjab.
On being appointed as the Vice President of the party, Baldev Singh Mehra has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to National President Behen Kumari Mayawati Ji, National Coordinator Randhir Singh Benipal, State Coordinator Vipul Kumar, State MLA and In-charge Punjab Dr. Nachattar Pal, State President Dr. Avtar Singh Karim Puri Ji and State Coordinator Ajit Singh Bhaini Ji, who have assured the party high command that they will work with full dedication, body, mind and money to make the party win in the upcoming Zila Parishad and Assembly elections 2027 for the progress and betterment of the party in the state, so that BSP party can be brought to power in the state.

Along with this, the state party high command and State President Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuri inducted Gurmukh Singh MES into the BSP party by putting a sirpa on him.
