Heard the problems of shopkeepers in the Phase 7 Industrial Area market, ordered immediate action.

SAS Nagar, May 26- Mohali Municipal Corporation Mayor Sardar Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu said that the corporation has no shortage of funds for the development works of Mohali. On the occasion of visiting the local Phase 7 Industrial Area market and listening to the problems of the shopkeepers there, he said that all legitimate demands will be met. Senior Deputy Mayor Sardar Amrik Singh Somal and social worker Gursahib Singh were also present with him. He also issued instructions to the officials to solve the problems of the market.

Earlier, Industrial Market Association President Hanish Aggarwal, Vice President Rajan Bhandari and Secretary Ravneet Singh Batra welcomed Mayor Sidhu and informed him about the efforts being made for the development of the market. The association submitted a demand letter to the Mayor, demanding installation of benches in the green belt, dustbins in the market, speed breakers, parking lines and fancy lights and grills in front of the shops.
Mayor Sidhu ordered to install grills and dustbins on the spot and said that the tender process would be started soon by preparing estimates for the remaining works. He also inaugurated the water cooler installed by the association.
