Nawanshahr- A meeting regarding removal of unauthorized constructions was held on 22.05.2025 under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner General, Rajiv Verma Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Ji, in which Mrs. Anamjot Kaur, P. C. S. Sub Divisional Magistrate, Nawanshahr, Mr. Vipin Bhandari, P. C. S. Sub Divisional Magistrate, Banga, Mr. Inder Pal, P. C. S. Sub Divisional Magistrate, Balachaur, Mr. Nirmal Singh, P. P. S., D. S. P. (Detective) Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Mrs. Tanupreet Kaur, Executive Engineer, Provincial Board, Lo: N: V: (B & M Branch) Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Mrs. Nidhi Sinha, D. D. P. .... Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Shri Harbhajan Lal, Forest Officer, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Smt. Akwinder Kaur, Deputy Tehsildar, Balachaur, Shri Ramesh Kumar, J. .., Local (B&M Branch), Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Shri Rajiv Sarin, E. O. M. C. Municipal Council, Banga and Rahon Shri Ashok Kumar, Superintendent, Office Municipal Council, Nawanshahr, Shri Dhanwant Singh, Junior Assistant, Municipal Council Office, Balachaur were present. 
All the officers present in the meeting were directed to send the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. L. P. No. 8519 of 2006 - Government of India vs. Government of Gujarat and others dated 29.09.2009 to remove any unauthorized construction within the district at the earliest.
