Hoshiarpur- To carry forward the glorious customs and traditions of the Khalsa Panth, there should be four to five Nihang Singh cantonments in every district of Punjab so that the poor and needy can be protected and Sikhism can be propagated. Shiromani Bhagat Dhanna Ji, Jathedar Baba Gurdev Singh Ji, head of Tarna Dal, are performing Nihang Singh Kar Seva at this newly constructed religious place near village Bassi Mudda. On this occasion, before laying the foundation stone of the new building, Ardaas was done by the acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Singh Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj, after which the foundation stone laying ceremony was performed amidst the echo of Jaikaras.
In his address on this occasion, Singh Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj said that in view of the increasing number of religious conversions happening in today's time, there is a great need to propagate Sikhism and Sikh ethics to bring back the Bhullad warriors who are turning away from Sikhism and for this purpose all the organizations of the Sikh Panth should make efforts at their level.
Similarly, taking forward the tradition of the Khalsa Panth, the important part of the Sikh Panth, Nihang Singh organizations should also come forward and fulfill their responsibility. He congratulated the entire Khalsa Panth for the construction work of Nihang Singh Gurdwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib being started under the leadership of Jathedar Baba Gurdev Singh Ji, the head of the Nihang Singh organization Shiromani Bhagat Dhanna Dal, near village Baghpur Satore. He also specially honoured Ajaib Singh, son of Nihang Singh Baba Dalip Singh, who had donated the land for this place, and his granddaughter Bibi Indrajit Kaur. On this occasion, Chief Jathedar Baba Gurdev Singh Ji of Shiromani Bhagat Dhanna Dal thanked all the devotees, saints, Panchs, Sarpanchs and various personalities of the area who had come, and honoured them by giving them Siropas. On this occasion, apart from others, Hardev Singh Council Chairman Fort Maharaja Jassa Singh Ji Ramgarhia and President Ramgarhia Sikh Organization India, Jaswinder Singh Parmar Patron and Harjit Singh Nangal President Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Nishkam Sewak Sabha Haryana, Baba Balveer Singh Birdh Ashram Haryana, Baba Balwinder Singh Hari Singh Nalwa Federation, Bibi Mahinder Kaur Josh former MLA, Harwinder Singh Dalli former SSP, Bhai Okar Singh Dhami, Bhai Sartaj Singh Basrawan, Bhai Joginder Singh Khaira, Baba Maninder Singh Ghodian Wale, Manjit Singh Cheema Mukerian, Satnam Singh Cheema, Bhupinder Singh Pinky, Avtar Singh Dhami and a large number of devotees were present.
