Mahilpur May 16- A special lecture on importance of books in life was presented by Prof. Dr. Balveer Kaur of Punjabi Department at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur in the convention hall of the college. Faculty members of various departments of the college were present on this occasion.
On this occasion, Principal of the college, Dr. Parvinder Singh shared welcome words for the teachers present and said that books always have importance in life and books are the true companions of man.
On this occasion, Dr. Balveer Kaur inspired man to always move towards his destination in life by giving examples of various books. She gave examples of books translated from other languages ??in Punjabi language and told that various writers have always been optimistic despite their fierce life struggle and have made many efforts to improve human society.
She shed special light on the importance of books in the development of human life. On this occasion, Head of Punjabi Department, Dr. J.B. Sekhon shared the vote of thanks. All members of the teaching staff were present during this lecture.
