Mandoli: Punjab Forest Department Workers Union Punjab District Patiala through a press statement demanded from the government and forest department officials that the salaries for the month of April should be released as soon as possible and that it is very difficult for the workers to buy wheat and straw for the whole year and to maintain their household due to other extreme inflation. 
The Punjab government has requested the Labor Minister Punjab to increase the minimum wage for household maintenance to Rs. 25000/— per month. Demarcation of canals and watercourses, strips and forests should be done, maximum saplings can be planted.
