Tribute meeting held in memory of Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon at Dev Samaj Bhawan, Chandigarh.

Hoshiarpur- On Sunday, 11th May, a soulful tribute meeting (last prayer program) was organized in the holy memory of Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon at Dev Samaj Bhawan, Chandigarh, Sector 36. Shri Dhillon Ji was the Chairman of Dev Samaj College of Education and Secretary of Dev Samaj. On this occasion, many prominent personalities from religious, educational and social fields attended and paid tribute to a visionary educationist and a devoted follower of the principles of Dev Samaj.

Shri Dhillon Ji was the Chairman of Dev Samaj College of Education and Secretary of Dev Samaj. On this occasion, many prominent personalities from religious, educational and social fields attended and paid tribute to a visionary educationist and a devoted follower of the principles of Dev Samaj.
On this occasion, Secretary of Dev Samaj, Dr. Agnes Dhillon especially emotionally remembered the great contribution of Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon. She expressed deep gratitude and respect to him on behalf of Dev Samaj family and all the organizations associated with it. She said that Shri Dhillon Ji dedicated his whole life towards the mission of Param Pujya Bhagwan Dev Atma and promoted a life based on moral education and values.
Shri Dhillon carried forward the sacred legacy of Bhagwan Dev Atma, the founder of the Dev Samaj religious movement established in 1887. He brought to life the core principle of Dev Samaj, which inspires to build harmonious relations with all the four worlds – inanimate, vegetative, animal and human, and to imbibe selfless values ??such as compassion, respect and gratitude.
As Secretary of Dev Samaj, he was responsible for running 22 educational institutions spread across India. Of these, Dev Samaj College of Education, Chandigarh, emerged as a leading institution in the field of higher education for women since 1981. Under his leadership, the college became the first college in North India to receive NCTE recognition in 1997. It received a four-star rating by NAAC in 2002 and was awarded 'A' grade in 2010 and 2017.
Many eminent guests paid tribute to the departed soul at the condolence meeting. Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Mr. Pratap Singh Bajwa, BJP leader Fateh Jang Singh Bajwa, Honorary Secretary of Khalsa College and University Mr. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chinna, Vice Chancellor of Khalsa University Amritsar Dr. Mahal Singh and many other prominent personalities from religious, educational and social fields were present.
The atmosphere remained serious and emotional during the entire program. All the speakers paid tribute to Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon by remembering his ideals, his dedicated life and nationwide contribution.
