
Do not sell any goods in bulk to consumers: Harveen Kaur.
Hoshiarpur- In view of the situation arising after Indo-Pak tension in the district, as per the directions of Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, District Food Supply Department Hoshiarpur District Food Controller (DFSC) Harveen Kaur visited the shops of various wholesalers/retailers in the district under Section 163 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and Indian Civil Defense Code Act, 2023.
Hoshiarpur- In view of the situation arising after Indo-Pak tension in the district, as per the directions of Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain, District Food Supply Department Hoshiarpur District Food Controller (DFSC) Harveen Kaur visited the shops of various wholesalers/retailers in the district under Section 163 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and Indian Civil Defense Code Act, 2023.
She directed them not to sell any goods in bulk to any consumer and in this regard, customers should also be made aware that they should buy goods only according to their need. Harveen Kaur said that the residents of the district need not fear or panic in this regard.
She said that the Punjab Government is committed to provide all kinds of assistance to the public during emergency situations.
