SAS Nagar, May 09, 2025: Dr. Parminderjeet Singh assumed charge as the new Senior Medical officer-2 (SMO) at District Hospital here today. 
He was currently serving as the SMO at Sub-Divisional Hospital in Kharar. Notably, SMO Dr. Vijay Bhagat had retired last month and Dr Parminderjeet has joined in his place after transfer from Kharar hospital. 
Dr. Parminderjit had served in this hospital as a Medical Officer for a long time. On 1 April 2024, he was promoted as SMO and took charge at Kharar Hospital.
While assuming charge, he said that providing quality and effective health services to the people visiting this facility are his top priorities. He was given a warm welcome by SMO-1 Dr HS Cheema and other staff.
