Amritsar May 6- The Sikh Hope Chandigarh organized a Katha Kirtan event on Sunday, May 4 from 6.30 pm to 10 pm to provide financial assistance to Gursikh children and Gursikh needy from the UPSC list. A special program was organized in collaboration with the Gurdwara Management Committee at Phase 4. 
Mr. DP Singh, former CEO Sri Hazur Sahib, former CEO Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, former DGM Punjab and Sindh Bank, Branch Incharge Tera Hi Tera Medicos Chandigarh told that in this event, Bhai Shaukeen Singh Ji, Hazuri Raagi Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji, delighted the Sangat with Gurbani Ras.
After which he honored the children who came on merit and for financial assistance to the needy Gursikhs, Bhai Kuldeep Singh Gargaj Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Singh Sahib Bhai Harpal Singh Ji, Head Granthi, Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, presented the cheque. 
The Jathedar Sahib highly appreciated the steps taken by The Sikh Hope Chandigarh and expressed his views. Bhai Harpal Singh Ji, Head Granthi, Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, entertained the congregation with a Katha. 
After the Ardas, Guru Ka Langar was served in abundance. Its service was done by the Chief Sewadar, The Sikh Hope Chandigarh, Mr. GP Singh and he thanked the management of Gurdwara Sahib.
