Nawanshahr, May 6- As per the instructions of the Punjab government, to make every village of Punjab drug free and spread awareness in every village, the MLA of the constituency Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi is going from village to village and making people aware.
While talking to the people, he said that now the police administration and the government itself are standing shoulder to shoulder with the general public. He said that strict action will be taken against every drug seller and it will be made mandatory to send the drug addict to the de-addiction center.
While talking to the people, the MLA said that the people of the village should fearlessly support the government and the police and inform us about the drug smugglers. A foot march was taken out in the village to make the people aware of the root of drug addiction. On this occasion, the people of the village participated enthusiastically and promised that they will not be allowed to enter the drug de-addiction front at all.
