MLA Vivek Sharma took a review meeting of the officials regarding the preparations of the fair-
Bangana (Una) 5 May- District level historical Piplu fair will be celebrated in a grand manner in Piplu from 5 to 7 June. Kutlehar assembly constituency MLA Vivek Sharma said this while presiding over the review meeting of the officials regarding the preparations of the fair in the auditorium of BDO office Bangana on Monday.
He said that the fair will be inaugurated with a grand procession on June 5. This procession will be taken out from the Public Works Department's rest house Bangana to Piplu. After this, worship and flag ceremony will be performed.
He said that fairs are a symbol of our rich cultural heritage and through these events, we get strength to keep our culture alive. Piplu Fair is a major historical and religious fair of Una district, with which the faith of thousands of people is associated.

Cultural and sports programs-
MLA Vivek Sharma said that cultural programs will be organized every day in this 3-day fair in which various groups, local schools and artists will be given the opportunity to give their presentations. Vivek Sharma also said that a star night will also be organized during the fair.
For this, he directed the officials to identify a suitable place in Bangana and seriously discuss the possibilities of organizing it. Vivek Sharma directed that all the departments should work in mutual coordination for the successful organization of the fair.
He urged the officials of all the departments to give their valuable cooperation to make the fair successful. He said that during the fair, Tehsildar Bangana will be the fair officer while SHO Bangana Police will be the fair officer.

Developmental exhibitions will be held in the fair-
Developmental exhibitions of various departments will also be held during the fair in which people will be provided information about various welfare schemes of the government. Apart from this, sports competitions like volleyball, dog show, wrestling and tug of war will also be organized.

Colorful souvenir-
Mr. Sharma said that a grand multi-coloured souvenir will also be published to make the memories of the fair everlasting. He also gave necessary instructions to the concerned departments to maintain law and order and traffic management properly.
State Congress Secretary Desraj Modgil, CMO Dr. Sanjeev Verma, Tehsildar Bangana Amit Kumar, Panchayat representatives of various Panchayats and officers and employees of various departments were present in the meeting.
