
Yoga is reducing mental stress of people - Pratima Dawar.

By doing yoga we not only remain physically healthy but also mentally healthy and we get inner peace of mind, as yoga plays a very important role in keeping the body physically and mentally healthy.

Meanwhile, people associated with yoga through CM's yoga sessions say that they had never imagined that the Punjab government would launch such a scheme, which would benefit the people of the entire Punjab and improve their health. Pratima Dawar informed that during the feedback received from the people, some people told that they are housewives and their entire routine was limited to household chores and they were not able to take out time for themselves.
But when they came to know that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has started a campaign for free yoga classes, so she decided to join that class and she said that since she started going to yoga classes, her routine has changed, her daily activities have changed. She has got relief from many diseases and she feels very good after coming to yoga class.
She feels that she is doing something for herself and her body. She is taking out an hour for herself which is completely different from household chores. She never thought that such a big change will come in her life, for this change she is very grateful to the Punjab Government, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann who started this campaign.
She said that these classes are being conducted by trainer Sanjay Saluja in Phase 11 and Phase 10 of Mohali, 6 classes are being conducted by Sanjay Saluja. The first class is from 6:00 am to 7:00 am in Phase 11 and the second class is from 7:05 am to 8:05 am in Phase 10. The third class is from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Sector 66 and the fourth class is from 10:45 am to 11:45 am in Sector 48C and the fifth class is from 4:50 pm to 5:50 pm in Phase-11 and the sixth class is from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Phase 10.
Trainer Sanjay told that some people in his class who were suffering from diseases like stress cervical spondylosis pain for many years have got a lot of relief. People who could not sit due to knee pain can now sit after doing yoga and people who had problem of sleeplessness i.e. insomnia have also got relief in sleep. In this way everyone is getting the benefit of yoga and they are feeling energetic.
