Nihal Singh Wala, May 3 - Sahitya Saath Patto Hira Singh organized a face-to-face and felicitation ceremony dedicated to Labor Day at the local Government Senior Secondary School Nihal Singh Wala. The chief guests of this ceremony were eminent novelist Baldev Singh Sadaknama, famous critic Dr. Surjit Brar Gholia, Gurmel Boude, lecturer Balbir Kaur Raikoti and Saath president Rajpal Patto.

The chief guests of this ceremony were eminent novelist Baldev Singh Sadaknama, famous critic Dr. Surjit Brar Gholia, Gurmel Boude, lecturer Balbir Kaur Raikoti and Saath president Rajpal Patto.
During this, the famous poet Charanjit Samalsar was introduced and he was awarded the first prize in the memory of late Master Lachman Ram Patto. After this, poet Gurbinder Kaur Gill was given the fifth late Surinder Sharma wife of poet Purushottam Patto Award. Writer Shiv Dayal Rasoolpuri Jalandhar was awarded the second late Harnavdeep Singh son of writer Mangal Meet Patto Award.
The program started with eminent writer Gurmel Singh Boude giving detailed information on May Day and the struggle fought by the workers. Dr. Surjit Brar Gholia also openly expressed his views on Labor Day, his sacrifices and threw light on the struggling life and literary journey of Charanjit Samalsar.
Dr. Brar said that in the literary program dedicated to Labor Day, Sahitya Sath Patto has done a commendable job by personally honoring such a poet, who has faced many struggles in his life and has reached this position by working hard in poverty. During his personal interview, Charanjit Samalsar spoke openly about his academic and literary journey.
He shared many experiences of his life from hard work to the journey of headmaster and his contribution in the field of literature. Along with this, Charanjit also recited some of his poems and ghazals. Lecturer Balbir Kaur Raikoti spoke in detail about women's rights. Amar Gholia read out the award given to Charanjit Samalsar. At this time Principal Jagtar Saidoke presented his views. Honored poetess Gurbinder Kaur Gill also presented her compositions.
Kavi Darbar was started by Dr. Nirmal Patto by singing a song in a beautiful style. After this Harinder Dhaliwal, Yash Patto, Amrik Saidoke, Jaswant Rauke, Dr. Sarabjit Kaur Brar, BN Sharma, Jasvir Sharma Daddahur, Soni Baba Muktsar, Harpreet Patto, Dr. Ramandeep Kaur Patto, along with patrons Parshottam Patto, Mangal Meet Patto, Gagan Nahar, Sarwan Patang, Mintu Khurmi, Jasvir Kalsi, Avtar Samalsar, Seera Grewal Ronta, Sukhchain Singh Kitty, Soni Moga, Jagpaljit Ghaziana, playwright Sukhdev Ludhar, Nimrat Ludhar, Dr. Rajwinder Ronta, Amarjit Kaur, Tarsem Gopi, Manjit Kaur, Kamaljit Kaur, Kulwinder Dilgir, singer Kuldeep Bhatti, Amandeep Kaur Patto, Master Tanjit Singh Patto, Ranjodh Singh Khote, former Sarpanch Amarjit Singh Patto, Kuldeep Singh Patto, Davinder Singh Didare Wala, Hindri Brar, Resham Doda, Nirmal Singh Ransingh Kalan etc. impressed the audience with his creations.
Apart from this, a large number of readers were present. In the end, the chief guest Baldev Singh Sadaknama presented his views and said that if anyone wants to become a lyricist or singer, he can come to Patto village and learn.
He said that there have been thirty-two writers from this village. These include the famous late story writer Ajit Singh Patto, late Dr. Pritam Singh Patto, late lyricist Raju Patto etc. The program was concluded by the president of the Sath, Rajpal Patto, by thanking all the writers and listeners who had come from nearby and far-off places.
