Chairman of Scheduled Caste Commission Mr. Garhi was honored by All India Adi Dharm Committee.

Nawanshahr, May 6- Chairman of Scheduled Caste Commission Punjab Mr. Jasvir Singh Garhi was honored at his office by All India Adi Dharm Mission and was fed laddus. This delegation was led by Central Committee's Media Incharge Gurbaksh Singh and Jagdish Kumar. On the occasion of honoring Mr. Jasvir Singh Garhi, the leaders said that after Mr. Rajesh Bagha, the post of Chairman of Scheduled Caste Commission was lying vacant for 4 years, which was filled by Banga constituency MLA Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi with special attention.

On the occasion of honoring Mr. Jasvir Singh Garhi, the leaders said that after Mr. Rajesh Bagha, the post of Chairman of Scheduled Caste Commission was lying vacant for 4 years, which was filled by Banga constituency MLA Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi with special attention.
The Punjab Government, especially the Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann, took interest in this and appointed Mr. Jasvir Singh Garhi, who was suitable for this post, as Chairman. Due to which a ray of hope has emerged through Mr. Garhi for the people who have been suppressed, crushed and tortured for a long time and today the layers of cases lying in the queue of society for a long time are getting revealed.
The cases which were not even touched by some administrative officials and some police officials are seen moving forward even after action was taken today. Replying to a question, Chairman Scheduled Caste Commission Punjab Mr. Jasvir Singh Garhi said that the Scheduled Caste Commission is taking prompt action on more than 55 hundred files of the past and pending files of 55 days since he assumed charge.
Regarding the shortage of staff, he said that this matter is under consideration of Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann. This shortage is also being filled soon. He also cited some such cases in which the victims were being harassed at the doorsteps of administrative officials for a long time but no action was being taken against the alleged culprits.
He particularly mentioned a case in which the alleged culprit was an employee of Punjab Police and he was harassing a soldier and his family and the police used to help the policeman and did not take any action against him. After his intervention, action was taken against the said alleged culprit and justice was delivered to the victim family. He said that the list of such pending cases is long and the above cases are being resolved soon. On this occasion, regarding the written request received from SSP Hoshiarpur for not sending back the security personnel who were removed from Sri Charanchhoh Ganga Amit Kund Sachkhand Sri Khuralgarh Sahib Gurughar after the Lok Sabha elections and regarding the President of Gurughar Sant Surinder Das not getting any security personnel till date, Mr. Garhi said that he will bring the issue related to the security of Gurughars to the notice of Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann and will get it resolved soon. On this occasion, Jasdish Kumar Disha, Ram Singh Bhanglan and Sanjeev Singh Sarpanch Bhawanipur were also present along with Gurbaksh Singh.
