On this day, after the morning bhog of Shri Sahaj Paath, Gurmat Samagam was organized throughout the day, in which the international Panthak Dhaadi Jatha of Bhai Gurdev Singh told the Sangat in detail about the life story of the fifth Guru Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji and the construction of Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji.
Bhai Savinder Singh's Jatha tried to connect the Sangat with the Guru through sweet Kirtan. Shiromani Preacher Bhai Sandeep Singh Shri Anandpur Sahib Wale through his speeches gave detailed information to the Sangat about the 2218 Shabads in 30 Ragas of Dhur Bani recited by Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji, Sri Barah Mah Ji, Sri Shabd Hazare Ji, which are contained in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj.
Apart from this, the Jathas of Bhai Omkar Singh, Bhai Bahadur Singh, Bhai Amarjit Singh, Bhai Gurvinder Singh, Sukhmani Seva Society's Bibis, Bhai Preetpal Singh, Bhai Gurdeep Singh, Bhai Jujhar Singh, Bhai Baljit Singh, besides the Huzuri Jatha of Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan Bhai Nitin Singh, Bhai Gurmeet Singh, Bhai Inderjit Singh and Bhai Sukhvinder Singh delighted the Sangat throughout the day by reciting Har Jas through Katha, Kirtan, Kavishri and Gurmat thoughts. All the groups were honored by giving Siropas. On this occasion, Guru ka Langar was served to the devotees. The spokesperson of the organizing committee said that the holy day of Dasvin will be celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm on 7 May. On this occasion, Sri Akhand Path Sahib Ji's prasad will be offered in the morning. After this, Huzuri Ragi of Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar, International Dhaadi Jatha and top Panth famous preachers will delight the devotees by reciting Hari Jas throughout the day.
Guru ka Langar will be served uninterruptedly throughout the day.
