SAS Nagar, May 1- Punjab Safai Mazdoor Federation celebrated Labor Day by hoisting the red flag. In this regard, the Federation organized a meeting in the park located in Phase 9, in which the Safai Karamcharis hoisted the flag in memory of the workers who were martyred fighting for the rights of workers in Chicago city of America in 1886 and paid tribute to the martyrdom of the workers by offering flowers.
Speaking on this occasion, the State General Secretary of the Federation, Pawan Godiyal said that the working class is the backbone of any country or city and if there are no working class and Safai Karamcharis engaged in labor work, then no city or country can succeed.
On this occasion, many leaders including Class Four Union leader Shri Krishna Prasad, Chandan Singh, Brijmohan, Indrajit Singh, Yugpal, Anil Kumar, Dheeraj Kumar, Dayanand, Raju Sangeliya, Sachin Kumar, Rohit Lal addressed the meeting. On this occasion, Safai Karamcharis also united and distributed laddus.
