
MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa dedicated new development works worth Rs 90.17 lakh to the students in 06 different schools.
Derabassi, April 28: MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today inaugurated various development works worth Rs 90.17 lakh in six schools of Derabassi Assembly constituency and dedicated them to the students. Along with this, MLA Randhawa also started the construction of new classrooms at Government Middle School Haripur Hinduan at a cost of Rs 9 lakh.
Derabassi, April 28: MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa today inaugurated various development works worth Rs 90.17 lakh in six schools of Derabassi Assembly constituency and dedicated them to the students. Along with this, MLA Randhawa also started the construction of new classrooms at Government Middle School Haripur Hinduan at a cost of Rs 9 lakh.
Giving information about the various development works dedicated to the students today, MLA Randhawa said that modern classrooms and mid-day meal kitchen have been constructed at Government Primary School Koodawala at a cost of Rs 10.73 lakh. Two new classrooms and other development works constructed at a cost of Rs 17.33 lakh were inaugurated at Government Primary School, Haripur Hinduan.
Two new classrooms were dedicated to the students at Government Primary School, Nimbua at a cost of Rs 15.02 lakh. Three new classrooms and a library constructed at a cost of Rs. 28 lakh were dedicated to the students at Government Senior Secondary School, Rampur Saini. Two modern classrooms and a computer lab constructed at a cost of Rs. 19,17,600 at Government Elementary and Middle School, Bajigar Basti, Zirakpur were inaugurated and dedicated to the students.
On this occasion, MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa in his address said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann has improved the infrastructure of the schools of Punjab and brought about a change in the quality of education, which was lost during the previous governments, thereby restoring the faith of the people of Punjab in the government schools. He said that 12000 government schools are being renovated at a cost of Rs. 2000 crores all over Punjab.
He said that the opposition parties have no other option but to accept this historic work of the government with open heart, but unwillingly they are forced by their habit to criticize the government instead of appreciating its good work.
MLA Randhawa said that when he visits schools and sees new rooms, smart classrooms, good toilets, clean drinking water facilities, playgrounds etc., the smile that comes on the faces of the children studying there is the biggest gratitude towards the Bhagwant Singh Mann government of Punjab.
He said that the only goal of the Punjab government is to make the image of government schools of Punjab better than private schools and to provide quality educational facilities in government educational institutions. On this occasion, apart from the teachers of these schools, Panch-Sarpanch and Mohtabar of the area were present.
