These views were expressed by Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishna Singh Raudi today while inaugurating development works done at a cost of Rs 51.64 lakh in five government schools of Garhshankar Assembly constituency. During this, he inaugurated the boundary wall of Government Primary School Chak Raut, classroom in Government Primary School Sadarpur, boundary wall, classroom and other development works of Government Primary School Tabba, boundary wall and other development works of Government Primary School Nainwan as well as science lab and classroom in Government Senior Secondary School Bhawanipur.
The Deputy Speaker, while inaugurating various development works, said in his address that the Punjab Government has made major improvements in the infrastructure of government schools under the education revolution.
He said that the previous governments did not pay any attention to the infrastructure of the schools, due to which the number of children in government schools had decreased considerably. He said that now seeing the development work done by the government in the schools, a large number of people are getting their children enrolled in government schools.
Jai Krishna Singh Raudi said that while the faith of the people of Punjab in government schools is increasing day by day, the state government is taking unique initiatives to improve the teaching style of the teachers of government schools. He said that the process of providing all kinds of facilities to the students in government schools will continue.
On this occasion, former District Education Officer Hari Krishna, Sohan Lal Lecturer, Charandas, Dharam Pal, Amrik Singh Dayal, Brij Mohan Lal Principal and Pawan Kumar Sharma played the role of stage secretary on behalf of the Education Reform Committee and officials of various Gram Panchayats and Education Department were present.
