Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 23 April 2025: In exercise of powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Geetika Singh has cancelled the license of firm Indoz Contingency and Educational Services.
Giving information, Additional District Magistrate Geetika Singh informed that firm Indoz Contingency and Educational Services Showroom No. 62 4th Floor Block-C Chandigarh City Centre, V.I.P. Road, Village Bisanpura, Zirakpur, Tehsil-Derabassi, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, owner Mr. Vinod Kumar son of Mr. Avinash Chandra resident of House No. 8 Astha Perfect Homes, Opposite Park, Dhakoli, Zirakpur, Tehsil-Derabassi, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, was issued license number 490/IC, dated 18.04.2022 for the work of Consultancy and Coaching Institute of IELTS, which is valid till 17.04.2027.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that the licensee was instructed to send monthly report, information about advertisements and seminars related to the firm and half-yearly report to the government. As per the report of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Derabassi, during the checking of the firm/company, it was found that the company has a valid license and Fire NOC.
 It was mentioned about being, but no document was produced. Regarding which a notice was issued. This notice was served on the respondent by the Naib Tehsildar, Zirakpur. The notice of the office address has been received undelivered. But no information / reply has been sent by the firm so far.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner stated that based on the above mentioned situation regarding the firm, the company/firm and the licensee have committed a violation under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012 due to non-sending of monthly reports and advertisements as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, closure of the office, non-compliance of the clauses of the license, non-response/clarification of the notice.
Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the license No. 490/IC, dated 18.04.2022, of the firm Indoj Contingency and Educational Services for the work of Consultancy and Coaching Institute of IELTS has been revoked/cancelled with immediate effect.
Furthermore, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/directors/partners/licensees shall be liable in all respects for the same and shall also be liable to compensate the same
