Guwahati, April 22 - The Gauhati High Court received a bomb threat on Tuesday morning. According to information, an email had threatened to blow up the building. Officials said, "After receiving the threatening message, we immediately sent a team to the High Court. Our experts are checking every corner of the building and nothing has been found so far. We believe that this is a false rumor."
They said that the details can be known only after the search operation is over. A senior High Court official said that the email was received from an unidentified organization called 'Madras Tigers', in which the threat to blow up the entire building was received. He said, "The police have arrived and the search operation is ongoing." The official said that the threat has not hindered the functioning of the court and the judges are hearing the cases as per the schedule.
