Nawanshahr, November 27- Gurmat Samagam dedicated to the 555th Parkash Purb of Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was organized with great devotion in Akal Academy Gobindpur under Baru Sahib. The event began with the commencement of Sri Sehaj Path Sahib, in which students and teachers performed wholeheartedly.
The students made the event memorable through Shabad Kirtan, poems, Kavisharis and Vaars and delighted the congregation who came to the event. Parents and congregation also participated in the event in large numbers. Sarabjit Singh Khatkar Khurd, Sukhdev Singh of village Kajla, Mega Cluster Head Mrs. Moninderpal Kaur, Sewadar Angrej Singh, Principal of Akal Academy Rampur Sundara Manmeet Kaur and other dignitaries specially attended the event.
Principal Prabhjot Gill and Vice Principal Seema Rani welcomed all the guests and honored them wholeheartedly. The event concluded with a Gatka performance by the students depicting the glory of the Khalsa army. Guru ka Langar was served during the event.
On this occasion, the students also put up exhibitions related to various subjects and Gurmat. Principal Prabhjot Gill thanked all the students, teachers and colleagues for the successful organization of the event and appreciated the students for maintaining complete discipline. The entire event was completed peacefully and on the path of Gurmat.
