CM's Yoga Shala is proving to be a boon for the residents of Mohali district

Kharar/SAS Nagar, November 27, 2024: SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur informed that thousands of residents are taking advantage of CM's Yoga Shala every day by attending the daily yoga sessions being conducted at different places in SAS Nagar district. She said that yoga practice is proving to be a boon for the health of the people.

Kharar/SAS Nagar, November 27, 2024: SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur informed that thousands of residents are taking advantage of CM's Yoga Shala every day by attending the daily yoga sessions being conducted at different places in SAS Nagar district. She said that yoga practice is proving to be a boon for the health of the people. Where earlier people had to go to the hospital for their minor health problems, now people have got relief from many health problems with yoga practice. She said that in view of the changing lifestyle, the Punjab government is providing yoga training to keep people healthy and giving them a healthy lifestyle again.
Yoga trainer Tania Sammat, who is organizing the sessions in Mohali city, said that city residents are participating in these sessions voluntarily. She said, “Apart from a website cmdiyogshala.punjab.gov.in, we also have a dedicated helpline number 76694-00500, which those who are yet to join can contact to get their registration done. Tania further said that any area with at least 25 participants can call/send a message on the WhatsApp number to start their new class/session. There is no charge for the yoga classes. Yoga trainer Tania Sammat said that she conducts 5 yoga classes daily. She conducts her first class at Ratwara village Mullanpur, Dharamshala from 5.00 am to 6.00 am, second class at Sector-6 Block-A, Ecocity-1, New Chandigarh from 9.00 am to 10.00 am, third class at Sehni Wala Mohalla Dharamshala, Mullanpur from 10.15 am to 11.15 am and fourth class at Ratwara village from 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm and fifth class is conducted at People Park, Sector-6 Block-A, Ecocity-1, New Chandigarh from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Where daily sessions are being held. She said that yoga asanas have the magical power to restore the physical fitness of the human body by exercising daily for a healthy life. She appealed to the district residents to join these yoga sessions and get maximum health benefits.
