Una, April 21- As part of preparations for the successful organization of State Level Haroli Utsav-2025, Deputy Commissioner Una Mr. Jatin Lal on Monday made a courtesy call to Governor Mr. Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu in Shimla and formally invited them to the festival.
The Deputy Commissioner, while presenting the invitation letter, informed both the dignitaries about the outline and major programs of the festival. He said that Haroli Utsav is a festival of public participation, cultural heritage and honoring local talents, for which preparations are going on at a war footing to make it grand and unforgettable.
Later in an informal conversation with the media, the Deputy Commissioner said that this event will be organized from 27 to 29 April at Kangar Maidan, Haroli. The festival will be inaugurated on 27 April in the presence of Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, while on 29 April, the closing ceremony will be presided over by Chief Minister Shri Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. On this occasion, the Governor and the Chief Minister extended their best wishes for the event and called it a strong platform for cultural dialogue and social participation. It is noteworthy that this festival, which is being organized after a gap of seven years, is being organized again in a state level format with a new style and new grandeur due to the continuous efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri.
