Hoshiarpur- District Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur under the able leadership of Hon. Mrs. Ashika Jain, IAS, Deputy Commissioner-cum-President, District Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur has been rendering public service by getting involved in various projects and public welfare campaigns from time to time.
Mr. Mangesh Sood, Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur informed that continuing the same series, Red Cross has sponsored Ms. Radhika Sharma, resident of Zila Parishad Colony, Hoshiarpur, who is an International Badminton Player. She has achieved many achievements at the State and National level. In collaboration with Ludhiana Beverage Pvt. Ltd., an amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- has been sponsored for her training for the competitions to be held in Denmark and France.
Giving more information, Secretary Mr. Mangesh Sood said that this amount could be provided to Miss Radhika due to the efforts of Honorable Deputy Commissioner-cum-President, District Red Cross Society, Hoshiarpur. Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur handed over a cheque of Rs 2,00,000/- to Miss Radhika on 16.04.2025 and wished Miss Radhika for her bright future. MD of Ludhiana Beverages Private Limited, Mr. Upendra Goenka, Mr. Gurmeet Singh were also present on the occasion.
