AAP Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh, Avinash Rai Khanna, former MP and Vice Chairman Red Cross Society India were present as the chief guests in this cultural competition being organized here at James Cambridge International School Jalandhar-Phagwara Bypass. Who were welcomed by the members of Ashadeep Welfare Society under the leadership of Paramjit Singh Sachdeva. The event was started by presenting a guest item by special children and teacher training diploma students.
On this occasion, Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that giving special children opportunities to move forward in life is a commendable step. And for this, Asha Kiran School and Ashadeep Welfare Society deserve congratulations. He said that the Punjab government will provide all kinds of help to these special children. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh said that like other children, special children also need to get a chance to enjoy every color of life and Umang Season-7 is providing such a platform to these special children.
At this time, Anivash Rai Khanna said that special children also have the full right to enjoy every color of life. On this occasion, Area Director Paramjit Singh Sachdeva said that about 350 special children from all over the country are participating in this competition who will be part of 29 teams. A total of 9 events have been organized in this cultural competition.
He said that with the support of Sanjeev Vasal, Chairman of Vasal Education Group, CEO Raghav Vasal, these competitions for special children are being organized in the auditorium of James Cambridge School. Paramjit Sachdeva said that Special Olympics India Punjab Sports Director Mandeep Brar, Anil Goyal Treasurer, Ashok Arora President, Colonel Karminder Singh Advisor and other committee members are providing full support for this event. And Ashok Arora and Anil Goyal are sponsoring gifts to the children participating in the competition.
During this competition, the role of judge is being played by Himanshu Chawla, Director of Gurukul Dance Studio, Raj Chand Verma, Praveen Sharma. He said that competitions are being organized under two categories, Small and Big. In the Small category, 8 children and in the Big category, 16 children will be part of the team. The winning teams in both categories will be given first, second and third prizes of Rs 2 lakh.
