Hoshiarpur- Punjab Government has issued a policy for shooting during pre-wedding, commercial shooting, photo shoot or private events at attractive and heritage sites of Water Resources Department. Giving information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that the Water Resources Department has also prepared a booklet and a web portal about the shooting locations through which interested persons can obtain permission for shooting. He said that the approval will be issued by the department after necessary action through the web portal wrdpbind.com/admin/index.php. After which commercial shooting, pre-wedding and other personal events can be shot at attractive places of the district. Giving information about the shooting location, the Deputy Commissioner said that Dholwaha, Chohal, Thana, Saleran, Nara, Patyari, Damsal, Janaudi and Maili Dam have been included in the shooting location by the Water Resources Department. He informed that for approval, the application along with the required documents by the applicant can be submitted through the web portal to the Executive Engineer-cum-Estate Officer or by e-mail at xeneowrdchd@gmail.com.
He said that the Executive Engineer of the concerned area will be the nodal officer who will monitor the shooting etc. He said that the shooting production house will also have to ensure full compliance of the safety rules and the use of loudspeakers at the shooting location without permission will be prohibited.
He said that different fees have been fixed for film, song, pre-wedding and photo shoot. It is worth mentioning that different daily fee rates have been fixed for shooting of film or song etc. for commercial purpose, pre-wedding, photo shoot etc.
