Popular leader of the general public, Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar also attended the cultural fairs being held in many villages and congratulated the people on this colorful festival. With his presence, the enthusiasm of the girls and women participating in the programs also doubled.
On the occasion of Teej fairs celebrated in Tajewal, Singhpur and Bohan villages, Dr. Raj said that the organizers and participants are all deserving of congratulations for their efforts to keep their culture and heritage alive through such fairs. He praised the role of women in the society and also encouraged the girls to move forward with self-confidence and hard work and achieve a higher position in their lives.
Dr. Raj Kumar said that these festivals not only fill our lives with joy and happiness but also provide a platform for the talent, self-confidence and cultural values of our women. With Giddha, Bhangra, folk songs, these festivals are giving peace to the people in the hectic life of our Punjabi culture.
