Memorandum submitted to Deputy Speaker Punjab for resolving problems of Beet area.

Garhshankar, 2 April- A delegation of Beet Welfare Committee, a voluntary organization of Beet, located at a short distance from Garhshankar, led by the committee's president Balveer Singh Bains, met Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Raudi and submitted a memorandum regarding various demands of Beet area.

While talking, the general secretary of the committee member Narinder Singh Soni said that in this memorandum, demands have been made to solve the problems of Beet area such as pathetic condition of roads, proper arrangement of drinking water in view of the summer season, smooth running of electricity supply, bringing all the buses of Beet to the bus stand Garhshankar, as well as to restart the bus that ran recently from Sri Khuralgarh Sahib to Chandigarh, which was stopped after a few days.
Soni Dayal said that on this occasion, Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Raudi assured the Bait Kalyan Samiti that the stopped bus will be started again soon, he said that in the coming time, Mandi will be run in Achalpur and this time wheat will be purchased.
The delegation that met Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Raudi included President Balveer Singh Bains, General Secretary Narinder Singh Soni Dayal, Sarpanch Sanjeev Singh, Sarpanch Balwinder Singh, Phuman Singh, Vicky Jhonowal.
