Una, March 15 – District administration Una is continuously taking strict steps to crack down on illegal mining. In this episode, Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal and Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh conducted surprise raids at various mining sites on Saturday evening.
During this, irregularities were found in Shri Shri Rudra Stone Crusher and Rudra Stone Crusher, due to which orders have been issued to cut off the power supply of the concerned units with immediate effect and cancel the lease. The administration has clarified that strict action will be taken against any person or institution found involved in illegal mining.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that the district administration is committed to make Una a completely illegal mining free district. For this, continuous inspection and raid campaign will continue. Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh said that strict legal action will be taken against those found involved in illegal activities.
The district administration has also appealed to the general public that if they get any information about illegal mining, they should immediately inform the administration or the police so that necessary steps can be taken in time.
