Hoshiarpur- Seeing the huge anger among shopkeepers over the theft in a grocery shop in the main market of Kot Fatuhi town recently, DSP Jaspreet Singh Garhshankar specially reached Kot Fatuhi police station to hold a meeting with the prominent people. Taking stock of the situation in the market, he said that the cameras installed by shopkeepers in front of the shops in the market are limited only to the shutters of the shops, which is wrong, whereas these cameras should be outside the shop towards the road.

The shopkeepers demanded to increase the number of employees in the post, to set up a check post late at night on the Churstha bridge of Bist Doab Canal. On this occasion, DSP PCR immediately sent two police personnel on a motorcycle and asked the shopkeepers to install good quality cameras on the canal bridge as soon as possible, to keep security guards in the market and to register a case immediately on the request of theft.
