Ludhiana- 23 March 2025, Ludhiana- Today, the 94th martyrdom anniversary of the great revolutionaries Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev was jointly celebrated by the Kapda-Hoodies Mazdoor Union, Factory Workers Union and Naujawan Bharat Sabha. 'Shaheedi Diwas Samaroh' was organized at the Mazdoor Library located in EWS Colony on Tajpur Road in Ludhiana. The program started with two minutes of silence in memory of the martyrs.
Naujawan Bharat Sabha activists Disha, Mausam and Komal presented revolutionary songs and during this, the play 'Lekin Jag Gaya' was presented. The stage was conducted by Naujawan Bharat Sabha leader Ravinder Kaur. Factory Workers Union President Lakhwinder, Kapda-Hoodies Mazdoor Union President Jagdish Singh and Naujawan Bharat Sabha leader Tina addressed the people as speakers.
The speakers said that the society free from exploitation and exploitation for which Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his comrades struggled and sacrificed throughout their lives, has not been created yet. His fight was not only against the looting British rulers, but against all types of looters. Bhagat Singh had said that this fight will continue until the exploitation of man by man ends.
Today, instead of white rulers, black rulers are sitting and looting. Rather, people are being made to fight under a conspiracy in the name of religion. The Modi government of India, the AAP government of Punjab and various state governments are implementing the policies of liberalization-privatization-globalization in a harsh manner. Anti-labor changes have been made in labor laws. Major attacks are being made on the democratic rights of the people regarding freedom of expression, food, drink, clothing, etc.
The speakers said that today the true tribute to the revolutionary martyrs is that the life and thoughts of the revolutionary martyrs should be spread to the wider public. People should be made aware of the challenges of the present times and organise themselves around their demands by rising above the differences of religion and caste. An exhibition of revolutionary literature was also specially organised in the programme. People watched the entire programme with enthusiasm. The programme concluded with revolutionary slogans.
