Una, March 20- The quarterly meeting of Zila Parishad Una was held on Thursday in the Zila Parishad auditorium under the chairmanship of Zila Parishad Chairperson Neelam Kumari. During this, ADC Una Mahendra Pal Gurjar was also present. During the meeting, the members placed various problems related to their respective Zila Parishad areas before the respective office heads. Apart from this, the approval of the income expenditure of the Zila Parishad, the work plans approved under the 15th Finance Commission, as well as items related to many other departments were discussed.
Along with this, the estimated budget of about Rs 12.91 crore for the financial year 2025-26 was approved. Apart from this, the District Development Officer Una also approved the annual action plan of MNREGA year 2025-26, in which a provision of 11,91,576 mandates has been made for a total of 54,597 works including a budget of Rs 361 crore.
In the meeting, the income expenditure made by the Zilla Parishad members from November 2024 to February 2025 was approved. All the members were informed that the last date for uploading the shelf of the District Panchayat Development Plan of the financial year 2025-26 of the 15th Finance Commission on the online portal has been fixed as 31st March. All the members were asked to submit their annual shelf in the office by 25th March.
In the meeting, former Vice President of the Zilla Parishad Krishnapal Sharma raised the issue related to the installment of untied funds of the financial year 2023-24 of the 15th Finance Commission in the House. He requested to get the Una Bhota main road and Nalwari Talmeda road repaired in his area and to get the damaged culvert on the Talmeda Dehar Rajpur road repaired.
In the meeting, instructions were given to build a boundary wall of the land located at Bhadolian Khurd of the Zilla Parishad and instructions were given to get the lift installed in the Zilla Parishad at the departmental level soon. Also, instructions were given to the department to provide information regarding agricultural loans distributed to farmers by the societies under Kuthera Khairla ward related to the Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies.
On this occasion, ASP Sanjiv Bhatia along with heads of various offices, Zilla Parishad Vice President Omkar Nath, Zilla Parishad members Krishnapal Sharma, Rajni Mankotia, Satish Sharma, Naresh Kumari (Diyada ward), Satya Devi, Urmila Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Rama Kumari, Sangeeta Devi and Sushil Kalia along with others were present.
