Hoshiarpur- Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishna Singh Raudi, while making special efforts to speed up the development works of his constituency, heard and discussed the problems of the people of villages and towns in the presence of about three dozen Panchayat representatives and officers and employees of various departments in the local OP Mandal meeting hall. He also instructed the concerned officials to complete these development works in a very short time.
In this meeting hall, since morning, all the members of various Panchayats, concerned secretaries, BDPOs and other officers gathered on one platform and resolved the problems and development works in a proper manner. On this occasion, Deputy Speaker Raudi took personal interest in the development works of the Panchayat of each village and resolved them and settled the grants together.
On this occasion, various representatives said that since the time of the Aam Aadmi Party government, many works have started happening at people's homes through the "Sarkar Aap" program for the public interest. Along with this, people have got more personal facilities and today. The development of Garhshankar constituency will be marked effectively on the development map of the state due to the orders given by Raudi to the officials to expedite the development works of the panchayats for the public interest.
On this occasion, the village sarpanches said that it is a matter of great happiness and consolation that Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Raudi is present in the service of the people day and night, but today he has worked as a link between the officials and the people by sitting on a platform directly with our Panchayat representatives, due to which we are impressed with the working style of Raudi around the villages, due to which the development work of our villages will accelerate further.
During today's meeting, heads of 25 departments were present. In which officials of Mandi Board, District Education Officer, Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Food Supply Officer, Kandhi Officer of Kunal Canal Department, Tubewell Corporation, Block Primary Education Officer, Railway Department, Land Conservation, Agriculture Department, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Electricity Department etc. approved some development works on the spot and a plan for major development works was prepared.
