Hoshiarpur- Giving further impetus to the development works of the city, MLA Brahma Shankar Jimpa today inaugurated the construction of lanes at Chowk Suraja of Ward No. 40 at a cost of Rs 16.50 lakh. On this occasion, he gave clear instructions to the officials that there should be no reduction in the quality of construction works and all the works should be completed within the stipulated time frame.
MLA Jimpa said that various development works are being done at a fast pace in the city so that the citizens can get better facilities. Under this, drinking water tube wells are being installed in various wards, which will solve the water problem. He said that the state government is committed to strengthening the infrastructure of the city and this step has been taken in this direction.
The MLA appealed to the local residents to cooperate in the development works and to cooperate with the administration in road construction and other works. He assured that such development works will continue in future also to make the city more modern and well-equipped.
On this occasion, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Pradeep Bittu, Anmol Jain, Babbi Jain, Rampal, Suresh Golu, Krishna Gopal Sharma, Manoj Dutta, Ajay Jain and other dignitaries were present. Expressing gratitude to MLA Jimpa, he said that such development works will directly benefit the city dwellers.
