Una, March 15- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal visited the old age home Chadatgarh on Saturday and took stock of the developmental works going on there under the Jan Sahyog in Vikas (VMJS). He interacted with the elderly people living in the old age home and inquired about their needs and the facilities being made available there.
The Deputy Commissioner said that providing better facilities to the senior citizens living in the old age home is the priority of the administration. He directed the officials to further improve all the basic facilities in the old age home so that the elderly people living there can live a respectable life.
After this, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the library building being constructed in Malahat Panchayat and took stock of the work progress. He directed the concerned officials to complete the construction work within the stipulated time frame and ensure modern facilities so that the children of the area can get a suitable place for studies.
On this occasion, BDO KL Verma along with concerned officials and other persons were present.
