Ranchi Chaibasa- At least three CRPF jawans were injured in an IED blast in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district on Wednesday. Officials said the injured jawans were airlifted to Ranchi for treatment.
Kolhan DIG Manoj Ratan Chothe said the incident took place in Baliwa in the forests of Saranda under Manoharpur police station limits when CRPF jawans of 197 battalion had gone there for a search operation. He further said that an IED blast took place during the search operation and three jawans were injured. They have been airlifted to Ranchi for treatment.
