4 March Nawanshahr- Shri Ram Sharanam Seva Sanstha Nawanshahr organised the 25th free eye check-up and operation camp at the local Shri Ram Sharanam Satsang Ghar Lal Chowk Nawanshahr. The camp was inaugurated by social worker Barjinder Singh Hussainpuri, founder of Naroa Punjab Sanstha.
In this camp organised in collaboration with Shankara Eye Hospital Ludhiana, the eyes of 287 patients were examined by the hospital's specialist Dr. Deepika Yadav and her team. The institute's chief service officer Dr. JD Verma said that 150 patients were given free spectacles. Needy patients were also given free medicines.
He said that during the examination, 33 patients were selected for eye operation. The patients' operations will be done by the specialist doctors of Shankara Eye Hospital Ludhiana. During this time, the arrangement of stay and food of the patients will be made by Shri Ram Sharanam Seva Sanstha Nawanshahr.
In the camp, dermatologist Dr. Ishan Agarwal and Harmanpreet Kaur from Osho Dhara Hospital, Nawanshahr also examined the patients suffering from skin diseases and gave them information about the treatment. During the camp, the organization made good arrangements for breakfast and lunch for everyone.
On this occasion, Gurjot Singh, Gurmeet Kaur, Adarsh ??Pathania, MC Vohiya and Dalraj Singh of Shankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana, Master Husan Lal Bali, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Manohar Lal Ahuja, Chetan Sharma, Pradeep Dhingra, Pradeep Joshi, Lucky, Mickey, Jeevan Ladoiya, Ashok Kumar, Deepak Arora, Naveen Verma, Suresh Gautam, Vinod Handa, Arjan Dev and Manish Khosla etc. were also present.
