Students of Rayat Bahra College of Nursing made villagers aware about water and air pollution

Hoshiarpur, February 27- Students of Rayat Bahra College of Nursing organized an awareness program about water and air pollution in village Mahna. On this occasion, students of the fifth semester of B.Sc. Nursing made the villagers aware about the ill effects of water and air pollution through role play and health talks.

On this occasion, students of the fifth semester of B.Sc. Nursing made the villagers aware about the ill effects of water and air pollution through role play and health talks.
The students motivated the villagers to adopt measures for cleanliness, waste management, recycling and pollution control. On this occasion, the students informed the people about maintaining a clean environment and proper methods of garbage disposal.
College Principal Dr. Meenakshi Chand said that village Mahna has been adopted by Rayat Bahra College of Nursing, under which this project is being run with the aim of increasing health awareness and promoting overall development. She said that the main objective of this program is to measure the level of water and air pollution, identify its sources and make the community aware about its effects.
The Sarpanch of the village appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students of the college and praised their work. Prof. Rajinder Kaur and Prof. Harinder Kaur were also present on the occasion.
