Punjab Red Cross provides first aid training services to social service organizations

He was accompanied by Madam Jaswinder Kaur, Councilor cum First Aid Training Lecturer and Chaman Singh, Director Red Cross De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Centre. G.S. Toor, Harprabh Mahal Singh, J.S. Gidda, Narinderpal Toor, Sumit Gill and Narinder Bitta were present from the Road Safety Awareness Society. On the occasion, the guests were apprised about the activities being undertaken to establish Road Safety Clubs in educational institutions of the district and to develop village Barnala Kalan as a role model for road safety.
They appreciated the objectives and activities of the "Road Safety Awareness Society" of the district. The view came up in the meeting that there is a need to overcome the lack of first aid training to save precious lives in road accidents. State level master trainer Amarinder Singh said that first aid training organized by Red Cross can be availed by depositing prescribed fee and then certificate can be obtained.
He said that Red Cross will provide all possible support to organize first aid training in the district. In the meeting, parents were appealed to motivate their beloved children to get first aid training so that they are aware of road safety rules while getting driving license, as well as they know how to do first aid. On this occasion, the guest personalities who arrived at the training park were thanked and honored by the society.
