S.A.S. Nagar 21 February 2025: Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Additional District Election Officer Viraj S. Tidke held a meeting with all the recognized parties of the district today. In which he informed that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, BLA (Booth Level Agent) has to be appointed at every polling station.
In this regard, each party was requested to fill the proforma BLA-1 and 2 and send it to this office by 24/02/2025. The proforma related to BLA-1 is to be filled by the President / Secretary of the party. In this proforma, the person authorized by the President / Secretary to appoint BLA at the district / constituency level will be appointed.
The authorized person appointed in the BLA-1 proforma will fill the BLA-2 proforma. In which he will appoint BLA at the booth level. The representatives of all the political parties were also informed about the forms that Form No. 6 for new vote, Form No. 7 for deletion of vote, Form No. 8 for correction/transfer/disabled marking/duplicate voter should be filled online on Election Commission of India portal https://voters.eci.gov.in and Voter Helpline App.
