Robbery at petrol pump in village Sahlon – Robbers escape after injuring the victims

A similar case came to light in the form of a robbery at a petrol pump in village Sahlon. The owner of the pump, Kaljinder Singh, said that he had closed the petrol pump at 8:30 last night and went to his office to settle the accounts.
After some time, ten youths entered the office carrying machetes (sharp weapons). They attacked the employees with machetes, due to which one of the employees was seriously injured. He was admitted to the Civil Hospital Nawanshahr for treatment, from where he was referred to PGI Chandigarh in a serious condition.
Kaljinder Singh said that when the robbers were attacking him, he asked what they wanted. When the robbers demanded money, he handed over his wallet along with the pump's entire day's earnings to them. The robbers fled in a car parked on the road outside with a third accomplice.
The police have started investigating the case, now it remains to be seen whether the robbers will be caught or will just play hide and seek with the police.
