Nawanshahr 14 February- Youth Sports Welfare Club Sahlon is organizing an annual football tournament from 12 February to 16 February. It was inaugurated by Sarpanch Harmesh Bharti. Today, on the second day of the match, President of Environment Protection Society Jaswant Singh Bhatti reached Nawanshahr to bless the players.
He congratulated the club and blessed the players. Addressing the players, he said that sports keep the body healthy and the mind sharp. Today's football match was held between village Kahma and Rahimpur Khurd in which Kahma won 4-0. The second match was held between Nadal and Ram Raipur in which Nadal's team won 2-1.
On this occasion, club president Inderjit Singh, secretary Ranjit Singh, panch Jaswinder Singh, treasurer Karanjit Singh, members Lovepreet Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Gursharan Singh, panch Inderpal, Satnam Singh Bhatti, Santokh Singh, Parminder Singh, Kuldeep Singh Bhatti, Gurwinder Singh Bhatti were present.
