World Cancer Day: Lively discussion on spreading awareness and treatment

Mandi Gobindgarh, February 6 – World Cancer Day was celebrated at Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital Mandi Gobindgarh. The program, led by Principal Dr. Snehamai Mishra and Director Dr. Kulbhushan, was aimed at spreading awareness about holistic approach to cancer prevention, early detection and treatment.

The program, led by Principal Dr. Snehamai Mishra and Director Dr. Kulbhushan, was aimed at spreading awareness about holistic approach to cancer prevention, early detection and treatment.
Professor (Dr.) Satya Dev Pandey, Director, Clinical Research-Ayurveda, Desh Bhagat University, gave comprehensive information about cancer and emphasized on disease awareness and preventive measures. Faculty members in the program were Professor (Dr.) Amitabh Singh, Professor, Department of Regenerative Medicine; Dr. Gagan Deep Sharma, Associate Professor, Department of Sanskrit Samhita and Siddhanta; Dr. Darshan, Associate Professor, Department of Regenerative Medicine; Dr. Nishant Paika, Assistant Professor, Department of Kriya Sharir; and Shri Rajendra Prasad, Assistant Professor, Department of Sanskrit Samhita and Siddhanta.
On this occasion, students and faculty members interacted with experts to deepen their understanding about cancer prevention through Ayurveda. Desh Bhagat University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur appreciated the efforts of the entire team. They emphasized that this initiative reflects the dedication of Desh Bhagat University towards social welfare.
