People are getting relief from chronic diseases by regular yoga practice - SDM Damandeep Kaur

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, February 05, 2025: People are enjoying a healthy life by participating in the yoga sessions being organized under the Chief Minister Yogashala, launched by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to provide a healthy life as well as other facilities to the people of the state. Mrs. Damandeep Kaur, SDM Mohali, informed that 6 yoga sessions are being organized daily in Sector 71, 77, 78, 88 and Phase-1 of Mohali under trainer Rasheed, in which more than 150 city residents are participating and improving their lifestyle.

SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur said that the first class is conducted by trainer Rasheev at Sector 78, Mohali (Park No. 17) from 6 am to 7 am, the second class is conducted at Hero Homes Society, Sector-88 from 7.15 am to 8.15 am, the third class is conducted at Hemkunt School, Sector-71 from 8.30 am to 9.30 am, the fourth class is conducted at Sector 77, near Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan from 9.35 am to 10.35 am and the fifth class is conducted at Phase-1 Paragon Park (Park-2) Mohali from 3.45 pm to 4.45 pm and the sixth class is conducted at Sector, 71 (Park No. 33), Mohali from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
She said that continuous practice of yoga not only makes the body healthy, but it also proves to be very beneficial for mental health. By practicing yoga daily, the participants have succeeded in eliminating chronic diseases. He said that during the yoga sessions, there are some people who are taking yoga classes without any interruption and they have made yoga a part of their daily life.
Many participants say that now they feel incomplete without yoga practice. Yoga has brought a radical change in their life.
