On the second day of the seminar, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, GGN Institute of Management and Technology, Ludhiana, emphasized the importance of instilling the values ??of sacrifice and devotion in the younger generation.
Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, was the chief guest and Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Pro-Chancellor, was the special guest at the event. Dr. Varinder Singh, Advisor to Chancellor, Dr. Harsh Sadavarti, Vice-Presidents of DBU, Dr. Surjit Kaur Patheja, Registrar Surinder Pal Kapoor were also present on the occasion. Dr. Lisa J., Counsellor for Higher Education and Science Policy, Embassy of Finland, New Delhi, was also present on the occasion. Toivonen was also present.
Sharing her views, she said that 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam', rooted in Indian culture, envisions the unity of humanity as one family. Dr MS Nijjar, former Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala, who delivered the keynote address, elaborated on the interrelationship of individual and collective welfare within the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
Dr Gurpal Singh Sandhu, Professor, Punjab University, Chandigarh and Director, Indian Languages ??Committee, emphasised on incorporating India's cultural and philosophical principles in modern development strategies. Prof Kulbhushan Kumar, Convener of the conference presented the seminar report.
