
Students and staff of KC School celebrated the spring season together
Nawanshahr- Students from nursery to class V at KC Public School located on Karyam Road celebrated the festival of Basant Panchami in their classes under the supervision of school principal Dr. Asha Sharma. First of all, everyone worshiped Maa Saraswati. Yellow flowers were presented to her, everyone wore yellow clothes and yellow dishes were also brought from home. Participated in various activities and also flew kites.

Activity coordinator Rajveer Kaur said that on the occasion of Basant Panchami, poems were recited in the classes and the life of Veer Haqiqat Rai was highlighted. Students decorated trees, paintings, various designs and kites using yellow lentils, rice, yellow flowers, chart paper and fruits. Teachers told the students that we should worship Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, with a true heart.
She always helps in fulfilling everyone's wishes and creating a bright future. Nature takes a new form with the spring season. Basant Panchami is the birthday of Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge. Everyone also pledged not to use Chinese strings. Dr. Asha Sharma said that Basant Panchami is a festival celebrated with great pomp according to Indian culture, which is a mixture of tradition, geographical change, social work and spiritual aspect, there are 6 seasons in India- Spring, Summer, Rain, Autumn, Winter and Winter, Spring is considered the king of all seasons.
We should worship Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, she distributes knowledge and wisdom to everyone. On this occasion, Rajveer Kaur, Kamaljit Kaur, Monica Rani, Shivani Jethi, Kiran Sobti, Rajni, Shalini, Neeraj and Harvinder etc. were present.
