Mahilpur, 23rd June - Established since 1946, the first batch student of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur, Avtar Singh Dhilo, former DSP (Canada), A check sent for financial assistance of two lakh rupees to the college was handed over by the family members of Avtar Singh Dhillon to the principal of the college Dr. Parvinder Singh today.
 On this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh thanked the Dhillon family for this initiative and said that such financial assistance given by donors to the institution is provided to the talented and brilliant students of the college.
 It is to be mentioned that Avtar Singh Dhillon, the first batch student of the college, reached the college during his visit to Punjab recently, where he shared his memories related to his student life of about 70 years ago and assured the institution of financial support. Meanwhile, Principal Parvinder Singh honored the personalities present. Apart from Iqbal Singh Canada, Hardev Singh and Professor Simranjit Kaur, Gurpreet Singh was also present on this occasion.
