Mohali- Mohali Senior Citizens Association (MSCA) organized a PH Vaishnav Memorial Seminar on "How to become cyber smart" at Khalsa College (Asr) of Technology and Business Studies Phase-3A, Mohali. This seminar was organized to pay tribute to the Chairman Late Shri PH Vaishnav, Former Chief Secretary Punjab.
Informing the media, the Secretary Public Relations of the Association, Harinder Pal Singh Harry said that Mr. Harvinder Singh Benipal, Managing Director, Technomac India and OXO India Private Limited attended the event as the Chief Guest. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Gurcharan Singh, Faculty of Cyber ??Security, Central Detective Training Institute, Chandigarh. Mr. Gurcharan Singh explained the various methods being used by cyber criminals and how we can all protect ourselves by being a little careful. He explained the various ways to protect our phones from being hacked. He also explained the way to report in case of fraud. The seminar was very much liked by all the participants.
President Brigadier J.S. Jagdev welcomed all the participants and informed that it is our endeavor to keep our members well informed about the upcoming threats that they are likely to face. Around 200 members participated in the seminar and they benefited a lot from this seminar. The stage was very well conducted by Mr. Harjinder Singh, Secretary Events. Who shared the contribution and perspective of Mr. P.H. Vaishnav. Mr. S.S. Bedi, Secretary General, presented the main activities of the association. The vote of thanks was proposed by Vice President Mr. Jarnail Singh Singh.
On this occasion, the Chief Convener of the Association Ravjot Singh, JS Rawal Finance Secretary, RP Singh Wig Secretary Projects, JS Thukral, Mrs. Avtar Kaur, GS Bindra, Gurdeep Singh, Amar Pal Singh, Bhupinder Singh Bal, GS Chhabra, Manmeet Kaur Chhabra and Mrs. Narinder Kaur provided special support in making this program a success.
Dr. JS Ramgarhia and his team arranged tea, water and lunch in a very good manner, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the guests and members present.
