
Shreyas, a student of St. Joseph School, won medals in State Taekwondo
Hoshiarpur- Shreyas Kumar, a class 9 student of St. Joseph Convent School, Hoshiarpur, performed brilliantly and won the bronze medal in the State Taekwondo Championship organized in Faridkot in Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan (Season 3) 2024-25 of the Government of Punjab, and brought laurels to the district by winning the bronze medal. The player displayed excellent sportsmanship and defeated various districts in Taekwondo matches.

For this victory, the player was given a medal, certificate and cash prize by the government. It is noteworthy that Shreyas Kumar had brought laurels to Hoshiarpur district by winning the gold medal in the 27th Punjab State Senior Taekwondo Competition held in Amritsar. State Taekwondo Secretary Jaspal Singh said that this player will participate in the selection trials for the 38th National Games to be held in Uttarakhand from January 28 to February 14, 2025.
On this occasion, the player was honoured by District Sports Officer Gurpreet Singh Bajwa, school principal Sister Sudha and sports coordinator Jagjit Singh.
